SPECIALTY THERAPY TREATMENTS
Physical therapists use a wide range of specialized treatments—such as dry needling, the McKenzie Method, Graston Technique, manual therapy, and targeted exercise programs—to address the root causes of pain and dysfunction. Each of these interventions plays a unique role in reducing discomfort, improving mobility, and restoring strength. When combined into a personalized plan of care, these evidence-based techniques help patients recover more efficiently, prevent future injury, and return to the activities they love with confidence.
This technique is used to help treat trigger points, which are localized areas of soreness in a muscle caused by its inability to relax. Dry needling uses very thin, solid filament needles (similar to acupuncture), which are placed directly into the trigger point, helping to release the muscle.
This form of manual therapy uses special stainless steel tools to treat a wide variety of chronic, acute or postsurgical soft tissue conditions, including back and neck pain, tennis elbow, hamstring injuries, ankle pain, IT band syndrome, scar tissue, trigger finger, golfer’s elbow, heel and ankle pain, and many others.
This specialized movement assessment is a 10-item, movement-based diagnostic system. It allows the therapist to first identify dysfunctional, asymmetrical and painful movement patterns, then create a customized treatment plan with manual therapy and therapeutic exercise interventions.
This is a specialized treatment system used to address acute and chronic issues around your spine, joints or muscle, including back and neck pain. This approach includes an in-depth assessment based on repeated movements, and features active patient involvement and education.
